Add custom links to the homepage
Follow these steps to add custom links to external websites and local or network files to the Custom Links section of the UltraTax CS homepage. You can add up to 10 custom links.
- SelectSetup, thenUser Preferences.
- Select theHome Pagetab.
- SelectCustom Links.
- SelectAdd.
- Enter the name of the link in theDescriptionfield.
- Do 1 of the following:
- To enter a link to an external website, selectWeb URL.
- To enter a link to a local or network file, selectFile.
- Enter the web address or the file location in the field next to theWeb URL / Fileoption.
- SelectBrowsefor theIconfield, select an icon, thenOK.noteIf you don't select an icon, the application selects an icon for your custom link and displays it in theIconfield.
- SelectEnter.
- SelectOK, thenOKagain to close theUser Preferenceswindow.
The icons for all custom links display in the left pane of the homepage.
