Associate preparers with offices

Firms that use multi-office (branch) or office share setup need to associate every preparer to an office.
note
Firms that only have one firm or office don't need to do this.
  1. In UltraTax CS, go to
    Setup
    .
  2. Select
    Office Configuration
    and go to the
    Preparers
    tab.
  3. Choose the correct office in the
    Office currently being configured as
    drop-down, if necessary.
  4. Add
    a new preparer, or highlight an existing one and select
    Edit
    .
  5. Choose the correct office in
    Associate of firm
    .
  6. Select OK to save your changes.
  7. Repeat these steps for each preparer.
  8. Select
    Done
    .
