Integrate UltraTax CS with Accounting for Practitioners
You can integrate 1040, 1120, and 1065 returns with Accounting for Practitioners.
- Open the client in UltraTax CS.
- SelectUtilities,Third Party, thenAccounting for Practitioners (Import).
- Make sure the data path is correct. This is a one-time setup.
- Select the client ID.
- SelectImport.
- SelectOK.
Accounting for Practitioners (Import)
doesn't display for Utilities
, Third Party
.- Only the following entities import client data: 1040, 1120, and 1065. If you have any other entity open, you won't have the import option. Verify the entity type in Accounting CS atSetup,Clients,Accounting Information,Entity.
- If you have a 1040 client open in Organizer mode, you won't have the import option. To switch to input screen mode, selectView, thenInput Screen.
