Import Microsoft Outlook contacts into UltraTax CS

UltraTax CS doesn't currently integrate with Microsoft Outlook contacts. You can export your client list report from UltraTax CS into Microsoft Excel, then import the contacts into your Outlook.
Follow these steps to open and import the UltraTax CS Client List.
  1. Select
    Utilities
    ,
    Reports
    , then
    Client Listings
    .
  2. Select the
    Client Contact
     report, then
    Sort
     options. You can also mark
    Include all contact phone numbers (export only) for the purpose of exporting this report
     and select
    Continue
    .
  3. Select the clients. Make sure you also select
    Focus
     options. Select
    Export
     when you're finished.
  4. Enter the file name and location, then select
    Save
    .
    This will create a DIF file. You can either right-click the file and open it with Excel, or open Excel and go to the file and open it. Make sure you select
    All File Types
     in the window.
