Retrieve general ledge balances from third-party accounting applications
You can use tax codes to import general ledger or engagement balances into UltraTax CS from other applications. The following stops are for third-party applications.

You can retrieve balances from the following third-party applications:
- CaseWare Working Papers.
- Dillner's FCAS.
- Universal Business Computing Company.
- Client Ledger System.
- ProSystem fx Engagement.
- Accountant's Relief.
- Accounting for Practitioners.
- SelectUtilities,Third Party, then[.Application Name] (Import)
- If no clients appear in the list, selectChange Locationand choose the directory of your data.noteOnly clients that are the same entity type as the UltraTax CS client are shown.
- Select the client whose balances you want to transfer, thenImport.
- When the transfer is finished, selectDone.
