Import Schedule C data from OnBalance to UltraTax 1040 return
If you're licensed for OnBalance Self-Employed, you can import a client's Schedule C amounts from that application into the client's 1040 tax return in UltraTax CS.
- With the client's 1040 return open, selectUtilities, thenOnBalance Import.
- In theImport from OnBalancewindow, select the OnBalance client that corresponds to the open 1040 return.
- SelectImportto begin the import process.note
- If the client's ID isn't available to import, selectEmail Registration, enter the client's email address, then selectSend.
- To get correct mileage information, we recommend your clients give you the Tax Summary Report from OnBalance. You may need to replace the imported mileage amount with the amount from the Tax Summary Report. Your clients can generate this report in OnBalance.
- OnBalance Express doesn't integrate with UltraTax CS.
