Determine where to enter data
As you enter data, you can use the Tax Subject Index (TSI) to do any of the following:
- Determine the input screen to enter data for a specific subject area or form.
- Find a particular input screen.
- Get a list of available forms.
- Get form instructions.
- In UltraTax CS, open a client return.
- Use theFind input forfield in the toolbar to search for a screen, keyword, or form. Alternatively, select theTax Subject Indexicon
. - To go to a data entry location, select an item from the list, thenGo To.
- To go to a form, select theFormsoption for a list of available forms. Search isn't available for this list.
- To go to form instructions, select theWeb Form Instructionsoption to open the IRS website.
