Determine where to enter data

As you enter data, you can use the Tax Subject Index (TSI) to do any of the following:

Determine the input screen to enter data for a specific subject area or form.

Find a particular input screen.

Get a list of available forms.

Get form instructions.

In UltraTax CS, open a client return.

Use the Find input for
field in the toolbar to search for a screen, keyword, or form. Alternatively, select the Tax Subject Index

To go to a data entry location, select an item from the list, then Go To
.

To go to a form, select the Forms
option for a list of available forms. Search isn't available for this list.

To go to form instructions, select the Web Form Instructions
option to open the IRS website.
