Enter a field note for each form override

Set UltraTax CS to prompt you for a field note each time you override a form amount.

You can set UltraTax CS to open the Field Note/Tick window after each form override. Use this option to add a note that explains the override.

From the Setup
menu, choose User Preferences
.

In the Data Entry
tab, mark the Enter note after each form override
checkbox.

Select OK
.

UltraTax CS opens the Field Note/Tick window each time you override an amount on a form.

While in tax data, you can right-click and choose

Field Note
Add/Edit Field Note

to open the window and enter a field note.
