Field notes
Field notes let you attach reminders, questions, or follow-up details to specific input screen or form fields.
You can attach a field note to a specific field. For example, add a note to ask the reviewer about a calculation.
The cursor location becomes the field note's anchor point. UltraTax CS shows an attached field note with a musical note symbol next to the field.
You can use different colors for field note symbols. For example, use red for reviewer questions. Use green for follow-up items.

- Field notes and field note symbols don’t print on the return.
- To view an attached field note, select the musical note symbol next to the field. You can also expand the dropdown list next to theField Noteicon on the toolbar. Then, select the note you want to view.
- To delete an attached field note, select the musical note symbol, then select theDelete Notebutton.
- A custom fieldview is attached to theTitlefield. You can use it to create a list of standard titles for all UltraTax CS clients.
