Pink dot or pink folder appears but no data to accept
Pink dot
If a pink dot appears on the
Client Organizer (via Web)
input screens but there's no data to accept, it may be due to a change in the state ZIP Code. For instance, if the Web Organizer
was sent with the original state ZIP Code (for example, FL) and the ZIP Code on the 1040
screen is later updated (for example, to VA) before retrieving the Web Organizer
, the pink dot will persist, representing the original data entry (FL). - Change the stateZIP Codeon the1040screen back to the original state (FL). Use the F8 key to view prior-year data if needed.
- Accept theWeb Organizercontent related to FL.
- Update the state ZIP Code back to the new state (VA).
