Switch between tax and organizer data entry
If the option to use the
Begin 1040 data entry
on Organizer
input screens isn't selected, UltraTax/1040
will initially show the tax input screens when opening a 1040 client for the 1st time. Switching between Organizer
data entry and tax data entry is possible at any time using specific methods.You can switch to
Organizer
data entry by right-clicking anywhere on an input screen and selecting Client Organizer
from the context menu.Button | Function |

 | To switch to Organizer data entry while you have a 1040 client open, select the Client Organizer Data Entry button, press CTRL+R , or right-click your mouse, and select Client Organizer from the context menu. |
 | To switch to the tax input screens, select the Input Screen Data Entry button or press CTRL+I . |
 | To switch to form view, select the Form View button, or press CTRL+F or right-click your mouse and select Switch to Form from the context menu.To switch to the Return Summary , you can either select the dropdown arrow next to the Form View button and select it or press CTRL+Q . |
