Web Organizers
have an email greeting that gives information about accessing the PDF (for email) or signing into NetClient CS
(for Web). The Web Organizer
email greeting also mentions any documents in their portal they should be aware of.You may want to make changes to these emails, like include how your client should give you their supporting documents (like W-2 and 1099 forms). If you make changes, you'll need to do so before you send the email and/or
Web Organizers
to your clients.- Go toSetup, then select the entity you want to edit the greeting for.
- Go to theOrganizertab.
- SelectLetters & Emails.
- Go to theEmailtab.
- Select the greeting you want to edit, then selectOpen.
- Make changes to your greeting.noteBorders, font changes, graphics, and other formatting changes won't appear in email greetings. Making formatting changes to these greetings can prevent it from displaying properly. Make sure you don't have any extra formatting and you have the font set to Times New Roman, 11 point.
- If you want to add custom paragraphs into the greeting, you can add pre-defined ones or create your own. You can make it so that custom paragraphs appear for all clients, or set conditions so they only appear for certain clients.
- Save your changes using the save icon or by going toDocument, thenSave.
- Close out of the document using the icon or going toDocument, thenClose.
- Optional forEmail Organizers:Email Organizersinclude a PDF (and XLS for business organizers) attachment that is password protected. You can determine how you want to explain what your client's password is in the email. To do so:
- Go toSetup, thenClient Communications.
- Select thePasswordbutton in theOptionsarea.
- In theCommunication of PDF / XLS passwords from within the client communicationarea, select an option.
- SelectOKto save your changes.
