Reprocess
Web Organizers

You can recreate, retransmit, and re-retrieve
Web Organizers
 as needed.

Recreate and retransmit

When you retransmit an
Web Organizer
 to a client's portal, it overrides the existing organizer in the client's portal.
  1. Select
    File
     then
    Print Organizers
     to reassemble the organizer.
  2. If you're not already in the client you're reprocessing, select
    Clients
     to select the client.
  3. Select
    Web
     in the
    Print What
     section.
  4. Select
    Assemble
    .
  5. Select
    CS Connect
    .
  6. Go to the
    Options
     tab. In the
    Purpose of Connect
     section, set the
    Web Delivery: Transmit organizers
     to
    Yes
    .
  7. Go to the
    Web Organizer
     tab. Select the clients you want to transmit the
    Web Organizer
     to.
  8. Select
    Connect
     to transmit the
    Web Organizer
    . The selected clients will receive an email alerting them that the
    Web Organizers
     are available for data entry, and instructions on how to access them.
After your client completes data entry and selects
Send to Preparer
 in their portal, the updated
Organizer
 is available to retrieve via
CS Connect
.
note
  • It can take up to 30 minutes after transmission for the
    Organizer
     to appear in your client's portal.
  • There is no extra transmission fee for retransmitting and re-retrieving an
    Organizer
    . When you send a
    Web Organizer
     to the same client multiple times, you'll receive only 1 transmission fee for that client.
  • If any documents were successfully signed via
    eSignature
    , you'll need to suppress the documents on the
    eSign
     screen in the
    Electronic Filing
     folder.
  • You'll lose any information your client has entered in the
    Web Organizer
     prior to retransmission.

Re-retrieve

You can re-retrieve
Web Organizers
 via
CS Connect
. To do this, have the client select
Send to Preparer
 in their portal once again. To retrieve the data again, use
CS Connect
 to pull in the
Organizer
 information.
note
You can't do this if you've marked the
Allow the client to choose the Web Organizer "Send to Preparer" button only once and prevent further changes
 checkbox in
Setup
1040 Product Information
Organizer
Options
. If you've marked this checkbox, the only way to re-retrieve the
Organizer
 is to re-create and send another
Organizer
.
