Transfer assets to the Florida PPT return

Follow these steps to transfer federal assets to the Florida Personal Property Tax (PPT) return.
  1. Select the
    Asset
     tab in the federal activity.
  2. Select the asset, then
    Modify
    .
  3. Select the
    Depreciation
     tab. Make sure the Book column has data.
  4. If you marked the
    Complete return using the FL treatment within the asset module
     field in the FL PPT Gen screen, you'll need data in the FL column.
  5. Make sure the
    Situs
     association is Florida.
  6. Make sure
    Location
     and
    PPT type-FL
     have data.
    These fields are usually in the Asset window or the
    Other
     tab. If you don't see them, select
    Setup
    , then
    Associations
     and make sure these fields are marked.
