Location Information

If the return has no depreciable assets, use this section to enter information for Form 102.
Location ID number
UltraTax CS transfers to this field the number that you entered in the
Location ID#
 field in the Asset Detail dialog. UltraTax CS creates one property tax return for every parcel number entered. In order for the assets in the Asset tab to transfer correctly, go to the Asset tab, choose Setup then Associations, and choose Enable. Select Location ID# and then select the Properties button. Add the parcel number for each return you would like to create. Once that is complete, go to Edit then Reassign Assets and then assign a Location ID# to the assets.

  • If the return has no depreciable assets, and you have entered
    X
     in the
    Create return, only if no depreciable assets
     field, you may enter the parcel number in this field.
  • UltraTax CS uses the Location ID number that you enter as the description for this input screen unit in the folders block.

, UltraTax CS allows you to enter the parcel number, which creates a unit of this screen.

  • If this return has depreciable assets, click the Asset tab in the applicable federal activity and enter PPT information for each asset before you enter data in the IQFarm Screen.
  • The
    Location ID#
     and
    PPT Type - IN
     fields must be completed for each asset in the Asset Detail statement dialog for the applicable federal activity for Form 102.
Agricultural activity (NAICS number)
Enter the agricultural activity code or use the fieldview to make the selection.

Return Information

Use this section to complete general return information for Form 102.
Force Form 102 to print
Enter

 to calculate and print Form 102, Pages 1-3. If this option is not marked, and there is less than a $20,000 cost to report within the county, only Section I and IV of Form 102, Page 1 will calculate and print.
Number of acres operated
Enter the number of acres operated during the assessment period.
