Complete asset data entry
Complete the following associations for all PPT assets to transfer them to the MI PPT return:
- Location ID#
- City - MI
- PPT Type - MI
- Situs - Mandatory
- You need to calculate the Book treatment unless you mark theComplete return using the MI treatment within the Asset modulecheckbox on the Gen screen in the General folder within the MI-PPT input screens.
If the associations aren't available in the Asset tab, select
Setup / Associations
while on the Asset tab, then Enable
to turn on the associations for personal property tax returns.note
To assign multiple assets at once to a particular association, select
Edit / Reassign Assets
while on the Asset tab.
