Transfer assets to the Nebraska PPT return

To transfer federal assets to the Nebraska Personal Property Tax (PPT) return, do the following.
  1. Select the
    Asset
     tab in the federal activity.
  2. Select the asset, then
    Modify
    .
  3. On the Depreciation tab, make sure the
    Tax
     column has data.
  4. If you select
    3
     in the
    Choose treatment within the Asset module to complete return
     field in the NE PPT Gen screen, enter data in the NE column.
  5. Make sure the
    Situs
     association is Nebraska.
  6. Make sure
    Location
     and
    PPT type-NE
     have data.
    These fields are usually in the Asset window or the
    Other
     tab. If you don't see them, select
    Setup
    , then
    Associations
     and make sure these fields are marked.
