Transfer assets to the South Carolina PPT return
To get federal assets to transfer to the South Carolina Personal Property Tax (PPT) return, do the following.
- Select theAssettab in the federal activity.
- Select the asset, thenModify.
- In theDepreciationtab, make sure theSCcolumn has data.
- Make sure theSitusassociation isSouth Carolina.
- Make sureLocation ID#,County-SC,PPT type-SC, andForm type-SChave data.These fields are usually in the Asset window or theOthertab. If you don't see them, selectSetup, thenAssociationsand mark the fields.
- For PT-300 only, make surePlant / operation nameis also complete.
