Complete asset data entry for TX PPT
Complete the following associations for all PPT assets to transfer them to the TX PPT return:
- Location ID#- This creates the input screen unit.
- County- TX
- Type
- Location
- PPT Type- Harris County (only if Harris County)
- PPT Type- Dallas County (only if Dallas County)
- PPT Type- Tarrant County (only if Tarrant County)
- Situs- Mandatory
- You need to calculate the Book treatment, unless you mark theComplete return using the TX treatment within the Asset modulecheckbox on the Gen screen in the General folder of the TX-PPT input screens.
If the associations aren't available in the Asset tab, select
Setup
, then Associations
while on the Asset
tab and select Enable
to turn on the associations for personal property tax returns.note
To assign multiple assets at once to a particular association, select
Edit
, then Reassign Assets
while on the Asset
tab. You can assign multiple assets at once.
