Overview

Use this screen to choose custom paragraphs and election statements.

Custom Paragraphs

Use this section to choose custom paragraphs for use in the client documents.
Number
Enter the paragraph number that corresponds to the custom paragraph to use with this client, or press
F4
 to view a list of available paragraphs. UltraTax CS prints the selected paragraph in the client document.
note
To create custom paragraphs:
  1. Select
    Setup
    , then [
    application name
    ].
  2. On the
    Texas PPT
     tab, select
    Filing Instructions
    .
  3. Select the
    Custom Paragraphs
     tab.

Description
UltraTax CS updates the
Description
  with the paragraph description associated with the selection made in the
Paragraph Number
 field.

Elections

Use this section to choose election statements to be attached to the client’s return.
Number
Enter the election number that corresponds to the election statement needed for this client. UltraTax CS prints up to 3 election statements with the return.
note
To create election statements:
  1. Select
    Setup
    , then [
    application name
    ].
  2. On the
    Texas PPT
     tab, select
    Tax Elections
    .

Description
UltraTax CS updates the Description with the election description associated with the selection made in the
Election Number
 field.
