Transfer assets to the VA PPT return
Follow these steps to transfer assets to the VA PPT return.
- Select theAssettab in the federal activity.
- Select the asset in question, thenModify.
- In theAsset Detailwindow’sDepreciationtab, verify that theBookcolumn includes data. (If you marked theComplete return using the VA treatment within the Asset modulefield inScreen VBGen, you need to verify that theVAcolumn includes data.)
- Check all other associations. You'll need to completeLocationandPPT type-VAfor each asset you report. In addition, assets entered in the federal input screens don’t transfer toUltraTax/Virginia PPTunless you set the situs designation to Virginia and select a County/City on theScreen VAReturnin the Property folder.
