Overview
Use this screen to complete Form PA-003.

UltraTax/Wisconsin PPT prints one copy of Form PA-003, Wisconsin Statement of Personal Property for each unit of Screen WJReturn.
Location Information
Use this section to complete location information for Form PA-003.
Unit
UltraTax CS automatically enters the next available number. If desired, you can overwrite this number, but you cannot leave the field blank. UltraTax CS uses this information to gather and coordinate information for the assessable business location.
Property location’s street address
UltraTax CS transfers the street address that you entered in the
Location
field in the Asset Detail dialog. UltraTax CS creates one property tax return for every unique street address entered. In order for the assets in the Asset tab to transfer correctly, you need to go to the Asset tab, select Setup, Associations, and select Enable. Highlight Location
and then select Properties. Add the street address for each return you would like to create. Once that is complete, go to Edit, Reassign Assets and then assign a Location
to the assets.note
- If the return has no depreciable assets, and you have enteredXin theCreate return, only if this return has no depreciable assetsfield, you may enter the street address in this field.
- UltraTax CS uses the street address that you enter as the description for this input screen unit in the folders block.

to have UltraTax CS create a unit of this screen. After you enter X
, UltraTax CS allows you to enter the street address, which creates a unit of this screen.note
- If this return has depreciable assets, click the Asset tab in the applicable federal activity and enter PPT information for each asset before you enter data in Screen WJReturn.
- For each asset in the Asset Detail dialog for the applicable federal activity for Form PA-003, you must complete theLocationandPPT Type - WIfields and you must selectWisconsinfrom theSitusfield. TheForm type - WIfield is optional for business returns as PA-003 is the default value.
Property location’s city, state, zip code
Use these fields to enter the city, state, and zip code for the property. If you leave these fields blank, UltraTax CS defaults to the city, state, and zip code of the federal business activity.
Account number
Enter the account number assigned by the assessor.
County
Enter the county name in which the business is located, or press F4 to select a county from the fieldview.
Municipality
Enter the municipality in which the business is located, or press F4 to select a municipality from the fieldview.
School district
Select the correct school district code and name from the fieldview. UltraTax CS displays this information on Form PA-003.
Tax incremental district number
Enter the tax incremental district number (TID#) in which the business is located. UltraTax CS displays this information on Form PA-003.
General Information
Use this section to complete general information for Form PA-003.
Business or property owner’s name
Enter the business or property owner’s name. If there is no separate business name, the property owner’s name prints in the mailing address field and appears as the legal name of the taxpayer.
Indicate name to print on return

Transfers in and out
In this statement dialog, enter detail of property transferred into or out of each property classification in previous years. UltraTax CS uses this information to complete the Additions, Disposals, and Transfers at Cost column of the applicable schedule of Form PA-003.

UltraTax CS calculates current-year additions. Therefore, they do not need to be entered in this statement dialog.
