Electronic Filing Status window

Show all expandable content
Use this window to view a list of all the return and extension e-files you've created for your clients.
To open this window, select the
Electronic Filing Status
icon in the toolbar. You can also select
Utilities
, then
Electronic Filing Status
.
note
  • When you file a return electronically using a 3rd-party transmitter, the Electronic Filing Status option isn't available in the Utilities menu, and the Electronic Filing Status button isn't available. If you aren't using a 3rd-party transmitter, select
    Setup
    ,
    User Preferences
    , the
    Misc
    tab, and mark the
Use Thomson Reuters as the ELF transmitter
checkbox. Make sure to mark this checkbox on all computers.
  • The
Use Thomson Reuters as the ELF transmitted
checkbox is only available if your firm has purchased a 3rd-party transmitter license.
  • Column preferences, filters, and focus by entity and state in this window are specific to each user. Client-specific information and displays, password protected clients, and a client's e-file status, are the same for each user.
