Kentucky City Rates dialog

Use this dialog to set up tax rates and other information for specific Ohio cities that you can then assign to any 1040, 1120, or 1065 Kentucky cities client.
To open this dialog, choose Setup then 1120 Corporation, 1065 Partnership, or 1040 Individual, select the Kentucky tab, and then select the Rates button.

  • Depending on your security configuration, you may be prompted to enter the master password before you can open an entity's setup tab.
  • The majority of the fields on this dialog already contain the appropriate information. You can update this information as necessary using this dialog.
  • Any updates to city information in the General group box will be applied to the other Kentucky state tax applications (if licensed), and vice-versa.

Fields and buttons

General group box
Use the General fields to choose the tax district, enter the district code, enter rate information, and set minimum and maximum tax values.
Payment Due group box
Use the Payment Due fields to modify the payee name, mail recipient, and address for the entity to which the tax payment is due.
No Payment group box
Use the No Payment fields to modify the recipient name and address for city returns that do not require a tax payment.
1040 Information group box
Use the 1040 Information fields to prevent income from being combined on a single return and to enter the applicable tax rate on wages.
Restore Defaults button
Select this button to restore the default rate values and other settings for the city selected in the
Tax District
drop-down list at the top of this dialog.
