Use this dialog to specify the reason for the extension that will apply to all clients for this UltraTax CS state application.
To open this dialog, choose Setup, [Entity], [State], and then select the Extension button. Note that only some state tabs have this button.

- Depending on your security configuration, you might be prompted to enter the master password before you can open any entity type's tab.
- The reason entered in this dialog will print on all extensions for this state application unless you enter on a client-by-client basis an alternative reason in the statement dialog attached to theReason for extensionfield in the Ext Screen. (Some state applications use a different field and/or input screen to overwrite the reason entered here.)
