Use this dialog to set your preferences for backing up UltraTax CS client data to FileCabinet CS. For more information, see Configuring the automatic backup of UltraTax CS client data into FileCabinet CS.
To open this dialog, choose Setup, Office& Configuration, select the FileCabinet CS tab, and then select the Options button.
Fields & buttons
Retain a maximum N backups per client
Use this field to determine the maximum number of backups to retain for each client's data. You can retain up to ten backups per client.
Limit backups to a maximum of 1 per day (recommended)
Mark this checkbox if you want UltraTax CS to retain the last backup of a client's data from each day. The data will be backed up whenever you close a client in UltraTax CS.
Include the most recently logged event in the FileCabinet CS description
Mark this checkbox to have UltraTax CS include the latest status event logged for the client in the description of that client's backup in FileCabinet CS.
Permit a user-entered comment to be assigned to each backup
Mark this checkbox if you want to enter a comment for each backup of a client's data. UltraTax CS will open the Backup Client dialog each time you close a client. Use the Backup Client dialog to enter the comment to be included in the backup description in FileCabinet CS.
