Use this tab to schedule status events for clients. The events available for scheduling on this tab are defined on Setup, Office& Configuration, then Status tab.
To open this tab, choose Utilities then Client Status (or select the Client Status button on the toolbar) and select the Schedule Event tab.

This tab is available only if you have defined global status events on Setup, Office& Configuration, then Status tab.

Fields & buttons

Client list
The Client list shows all of the clients who meet the criteria selected in the Focus group box. Select the client for whom you want to schedule status events and use the Add button to the right to schedule the desired events.
note
If a client is open, that client's name is automatically highlighted in this list.
note
To sort the client list by client ID, name, or entity type, select on the words Client ID, Name, or Entity in the title bar of the list pane.
Event list
The Event list shows events that are scheduled for the selected client.
Event
Select the event that you want to schedule and use the fields in the group box below to enter scheduling information.
note
To add an event to the drop-down list, choose Setup, Office& Configuration, then Status tab.
Date
Enter the date on which you want the event to occur, or select the Calendar button on the right to choose a date from the Calendar dialog.
note
If you use the Calendar dialog to choose the date, remember to select the Accept button before you close the dialog.
Time
Enter the time at which you want the event to occur.
Duration
To indicate the duration of the event, select a length of time from the drop-down list.
Comment
Enter a comment about the event, if desired. The comment will appear when you hold your cursor over the client's name in the Calendar dialog.
Review Schedule button
Select the Review Schedule button to open the Calendar dialog and view a calendar of the scheduled events.

Focus group box

Entity type
Mark one or more of the entity type checkboxes to include the corresponding clients in the client list.
Example:
To include only 1040 clients in the list, clear all checkboxes except the
1040
checkbox.

In most dialogs, mark the
Other
checkbox to include 990, 5500, 706, and 709 clients in the list. In the View Electronic Filing Status dialog, mark the
Other
checkbox to include Michigan Business Tax (MBT) clients in the list.
Preparer/Reviewer/Staff
Select a preparer, reviewer, or staff member from the drop-down list to limit the list to clients whose returns were assigned to a specific person.

Calendar dialog

Calendar grid
The grid on the Calendar dialog allows you to view the scheduled events in a calendar format. Use the field and options in the View group box to sort the information by preparer/staff, date and time.
Monthly calendar
Use this small monthly calendar to view scheduled events for previous or future months. To return to the current day, right-select and select the Go to today button.
Preparer/reviewer/staff
Choose the name of the preparer, reviewer, or staff member whose events you would like to view. To view all events, choose
All Preparers
.
Date
Choose an option to view a one-day, five-day, or seven-day calendar of events.
Time
Choose an option to view the calendar in 15-, 30-, or 60-minute increments.
