Resolve Identification Number dialog (Source Data Entry)

Show all expandable content
Use this dialog to find and enter a Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) that is truncated or obscured on a source document. A client's TIN may be truncated on a source form for privacy purposes, appearing as "XXX-XX-1234" instead of showing the complete Social Security number. When a form containing a truncated TIN is opened in Source Data Entry, use this dialog to designate the appropriate client to whom the form belongs.
Source Data Entry opens this dialog automatically when a truncated TIN is entered on a source document, or when you open a form containing a truncated TIN that was imported from FileCabinet CS Source Document Processing.
note
After selecting or entering a TIN in the
Corrected TIN
field, select OK to use the specified TIN on the current form, or select Cancel to abort the process. Selecting Cancel will either clear the form field where the TIN was entered, or will postpone acceptance of the form if the form was retrieved via FileCabinet CS Source Document Processing.
