Use this dialog to copy Source Data Entry data from one data location to another. For example, multiple branches of the same firm that share an installation of UltraTax CS can copy Source Data Entry files from the data location used by one branch to the data locations used by other branches.
To open this dialog from within Source Data Entry, choose File then Copy Data.
Fields & buttons
Source location
Use this drop-down list to choose the data location that contains the Source Data Entry files that you want to copy to another data location.
Destination location
Use this drop-down list to choose the data location to which you want to copy the Source Data Entry files from the location selected in the
Source location
field.note
You must specify a data location before it will appear in this drop-down list. To specify a data location, choose Setup, System Configuration, then Data Locations and select the Add Data Location button.
Forms available to copy list
This list contains the Source Data Entry files that can be copied from one data location to another. Highlight the items and choose Select to select the items to copy from the data path specified in the
Source location
field to the path specified in the Destination location
field. The option to Select All is also available. Select Copy to copy the items to the Destination location.This article applies to:
