Adjust shaded areas on printed input screens and forms

Follow these steps to adjust the darkness of the shaded areas on printed input screens, forms, and UltraTax/1040 Client Organizer pages.
  1. Depending on whether UltraTax CS is set up for firm-wide or user-defined print options, do one of the following:
    1. Office-wide print options: Select
      Setup
      ,
      Office Configuration
      ; if required, enter the master password and select
      Done
      , then select
      Print Options
      .
    2. User-defined print options: Select
      Setup
      ,
      User Preferences
      , then select
      Print Options
      .
      note
      This tab is available only if you are licensed for the network version of UltraTax CS.
  2. In the
    Print Options
    window or tab, select
    Page Layout
    and
    Shading
    .
  3. In the
    Page Layout and Shading
    window, select the tab that corresponds to the item for which you want to modify the shading.
  4. In the Shading group box, move the sliding lever to None, Light, or Normal.
    note
    Normal shading is 20% shade, and light shading is 10% shade.
  5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for each tab, as desired.
  6. Select
    OK
    .
