Assign a printer to each user

At this time, there isn't a way to assign a printer to a specific user. UltraTax CS defaults to the last printer a user selected. So if User A prints using Printer X, then the next time User A prints from UltraTax CS, the printer selected by default will be Printer X.
If this isn't what you want, delete the user control file for that particular user. To do this, follow the instructions below.
  1. Close UltraTax CS.
  2. Right-click
    Start
    , then select Windows
    File Explorer
    .
  3. Go to
    X:\WinCSI\UTYYSys
    , where
    X
     is the drive letter where the program is installed and
    YY
     is the last two digits of the year of the program.
  4. Locate the user preference file
    _Yusumsc.user
     (where
    Y
     is the year of the program) and rename the file as
    _Yusumsc.old
    .
  5. After you rename the file, close Windows
    File Explorer
    .
  6. Reopen UltraTax CS and make sure your printers are working the way you want them to.
