Customize the print collation for shareholder, partner, beneficiary, and participant packages
When printing 1120S, 1065, 1041, or 5500 returns you can customize the print collation for the shareholder, partner, beneficiary, or participant like you would customize the collation for the return itself. You can even set different government, client, and preparer collations.
- From theSetupmenu, select1120 Corporation,1065 Partnership,1041 Fiduciary, or550 Benefit Plans.noteDepending on your security configuration, you may need to enter themaster passwordand selectOKbefore you can proceed.
- SelectFederalorState.
- SelectTax Return.
- In the Focus group box, select theShareholder Package,Partner Package,Bene PackageorParticipant Package.
- Select theGovernment,Client, orPreparertab, depending on which collation you want to edit.
- By default, each form is selected to print if required. To exclude an item from ever printing, select the item in the list, then selectNeverin the Print conditions group box.
- The items are listed in the order that they’ll print. To change the print order, select an item in the list, then selectMove UporMove Downto move the item up or down in the list.

- To return to the application default for print conditions and print order, selectRestore Default.
- If you print tax returns for a client at a time, you can override the print collation on a client-by-client basis. To do so, selectFile,Print Returns, and selectOptions.
