Print collations overview
You can use the
Return Collation
window to change the default print order of documents, to force items to print, to exclude items from printing, and to proforma customized print collations from the prior year.- If applicable, proforma the tax return print collations you used in the prior year. Then review the print collations and decide if you want to make changes.
- If you want to change a print collation, determine which one you want to customize: input screens; tax returns; returns filed electronically; or shareholder, partner, and beneficiary packages.
- Decide if you want to make other modifications to the print collation, such as overriding the print collation for the open client, excluding the same items from printing in multiple tax return print collations, or printing a separator page between collations.
