Print tax returns and extensions overview
UltraTax CS enables you to print tax returns and extensions in a variety of ways. What follows is a suggested method for printing returns and extensions.
- Proforma the print collation from last year, if necessary. Whether or not you proforma, verify or edit your print collation.
- Decide whether or not to make the following modifications.
- Print the client ID, date, time, and/or page number on returns, extensions, and input screens.
- Exclude a form or return from printing for this client.
- Force a form to print.
- Print the date in the preparer block section of returns and extensions.
- Print PRP or blank preparer block information.
- Decide if you want to include alternate preparer information.
- Select an alternate format in which you want the information to print.
- Print all client data in capital letters.
- Print all client data in bold.
- Print multiple pages on a single sheet of paper.
- Print the returns and extensions.
- If applicable, store documents in FileCabinet CS, File Drawer, or GoFileRoom.
