Re-proforma all returns except certain PPT returns
You can re-proforma all client data except the property tax return data into this year's application. The client's property tax return won't be re-proforma'd and will retain its current-year data.
note
This applies PPT returns for California, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Nebraska, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, and Wisconsin.

- You can't proforma a client's data until we release the federal application for the current tax year. Therefore, some entity types in theFocussection may not be available early in the year.

note
- Data that's proforma'd from the previous year is displayed in blue in the current-year input screens. The cursor skips these fields by default, but you can change that default by marking theVisit All Fieldscheckbox inSetup,User Preferences, then theData Entrytab.
- When converting client data from another tax preparation application, UltraTax CS occasionally encounters units of multiple-unit input screens that aren't associated with a defined activity folder. These are known as "orphaned" input screens. When you open the client, an error message shows asking you to resolve the issue.
