CustomAction CheckIfUserCanceled_End returned actual error code 1157
Cause
The Windows permissions for the user running the installation aren't sufficient.
Solution 1: Use Hidden Administrator
- SelectStartand search forCommand Prompt.
- Right-clickCommand Promptand selectRun as administrator.
- Enternet user Administrator /active:yesand useEnter.noteIf you receive an error message in the command prompt saying that you don't have access to enable this Administrator account, try a different user account. An error during this process may indicate a permissions-related issue that may be causing other issues with the current user account.
- Sign out of your Windows profile.
- Sign back in using theHidden Administratoraccount with your current credentials.noteBy default, this user account doesn't have a password and you aren't required to create one. When you're finished using it, you can disable it:
- OpenCommand Promptand selectRun as administrator.
- Enternet user administrator /active:noand useEnter.
- Try the installation again that caused the error.
Solution 2: Set permissions
Ask your IT professional to give you full control over the WinCSI folder and its directories.
