Error: You have exceeded the maximum number of codes per hour
Scenario
You may get the following error message when you try to sign in to your Thomson Reuters Account.

You have exceeded the maximum number of codes per hour.
Cause
This error happens when authenticating with text messaging more than 10 times in an hour.
Solution
You can either:
- SelectTry another method. Then you can select a backup method of email or phone call.
- Or wait 60 minutes before authenticating with text messaging again.
To avoid getting this error, we recommend using Auth0 Guardian app or a third-party authentication app. These apps have no limit on the number of authentication attempts.
