Set up Outlook to receive POP3 or IMAP emails
Follow these steps to configure Microsoft Outlook 2021 in
Virtual Office CS or Software as a Service (SaaS)

If you don't use Microsoft Exchange, a
POP3 or IMAP email account is required in Outlook on Virtual Office CS or SaaS
to send email from hosted CS Professional Suite applications. Outlook on Virtual Office CS or SaaS
must be open to send the email message immediately or it will be saved in the outbox and sent when Outlook is opened next - Sign in toNetStaff CS.
- In the navigation pane, selectApplications, then select Microsoft Outlook.noteOpen the Remote Desktop application or the Windows application to sign in if you access your applications directly through these apps.
- In Microsoft Outlook, select theFiletab,Account Settings, then selectAccount Settings.
- In theEmailtab, selectNewto add your email account.
- On the initial screen, you may see an incorrect email using @portal.local or @vo.thomsonreuters.com. Overwrite that value with your correct email.
- SelectAdvanced options, then markLet me set up my account manually.
- SelectConnect.
- In theChoose Servicepage, select thePOP or IMAPoption.
- Enter the following information for your account:
- Your server information.
- Your username and password you use to sign in to your email account in theLogon informationsection.
- Your server port and encrypted connection information by selecting theMore settingsbutton, thenAdvancedtab.
- SelectNext.
