Notify users when new Document Presentation files are available

You can set up NetFirm CS to send notification messages to specific NetClient CS or NetStaff CS users when new files are available for them in Document Presentation. By default, the notification messages include links to open the folders that contain the new files. After selecting the folder, users can follow the New indicators to the new files.
  1. In the
    Admin
     tab of the navigation pane, select
    Notification
     in the Utilities section.

    If you can't find this link, you don't have access to this area.
  2. With
    Document Presentation
     selected in the Notification list, do 1 of the following.
    • Select
      NetStaff CS
       under Display Users, then choose
      Select All
       to send notification messages to all users when a file is uploaded to a Document Presentation folder that they can access. To send notifications to specific NetStaff CS users, choose
      Selected
       and mark the checkboxes for the users who should receive the notification.
    • Select
      NetClient CS
       under Display Users, then select
      All Users
       to send notification messages to all users when a file is uploaded to a Document Presentation folder that they can access. To send notifications to specific NetClient CS users, choose
      Selected
       and mark the checkboxes for the users who should receive the notification.
    note
    • If you choose
      Select All
      , new users will receive notifications by default. An administrator doesn't have to return to this screen to mark the checkboxes for new users.
    • Use
      Find
       in the Document Presentation pane and enter any part of a user's name or sign in to locate a user.
    • Choose
      Unselected
       to display only the users who aren't set up to receive notification messages about new Document Presentation files. Choose
      Selected
       to display only the users who are set up to receive notification messages.
  3. In the Display Users section, select
    NetClient CS
    .
  4. Mark the checkbox for each NetClient CS user NetFirm CS should send a notification message to.
  5. Select
    Enter
    .
    • Optional
      : You can modify the template for the notification message.
    • Optional
      : You can choose the method the users will get the notification.
