Upload files to NetClient CS users' personal or shared File Exchange folders
If you have access to File Exchange and NetClient CS administration, you can upload files to all NetClient CS users’ shared and personal File Exchange folders.
- In the NetStaff CS tab of the navigation pane, selectFile Exchange.noteIf you don't have this option, you don’t have access to File Exchange.
- Go toFile Exchange Viewand select a NetClient CS user.noteThe NetClient CS user’s personal and shared File Exchange folders show in the File Exchange screen.
- Select the folder you'll upload the file to. Depending on the folder structure, you may need to go through subfolders to access the folder you want.
- SelectUpload.
- Do 1 of the following.
- SelectAdd files, go to the files you want to upload, select them, and then selectOpen. After you add all of the files that you want to upload, selectStart upload.
- If your browser supports HTML 5, the words “Drag files here” show in the upload section. You can upload files by opening Windows Explorer, going to the files you want to upload, selecting the files, and then dragging the files to the file list. After you add all of the files that you want to upload, selectStart upload.
- If the files you need to upload are in Dropbox, selectChoose from Dropbox, select the files you want to upload, then selectChoose.
noteYou can upload multiple files of up to 2 GB, and you can include multiple files in a single upload.To select files that are listed consecutively, select the 1st file, select and hold the Shift key, and then select the last file. To select multiple files that are not listed consecutively, select a file and then select and hold down the Ctrl key while you select additional files.The files will be available to the NetClient CS user the next time they sign in to NetClient CS.Newindicators show for the folders that contain new files and by the new file. If your firm set up File Exchange notifications for the user, they’ll also get a notification message via the method your firm chose.
