Migrate Microsoft Office data to Virtual Office CS or SaaS
Follow these steps to move Microsoft Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint, Publisher, or Word data from a local or network drive to the Virtual Office CS or SaaS environment.
- In the NetStaff CS tab of the navigation pane, selectApplications.noteIfApplicationsisn't available, you don't have access to Microsoft Office applications through Virtual Office CS or SaaS.
- Select the icon for the Office application you want to migrate.
- In Microsoft Office, select theFiletab in the ribbon, thenOpen.
- In the navigation bar of the Open window, select theMy Local Drive icon.
- Go to the folder with the files you want to migrate to your portal.noteIn the Virtual Office CS or SaaS environment,C$ on Client (V:)is your local C:\ drive.
- Use Ctrl + A on your keyboard to select all of the files within the folder.noteYou can also hold down the Ctrl key and select individual files.
- Use Ctrl + C to copy the files.
- In the navigation bar of the Open window, select theMy DocumentsorMy Firm's Documentsicon, depending on where you want to place the files.
- Select the File list pane and use Ctrl + V to paste the files to the new location.
- Repeat steps 4 through 9 until you've moved all of the files.
- When you're done, selectCancelto close theOpenwindow.
