There's a problem signing in
Use the following steps when there's a problem signing in.

You may need to upgrade

Complete the process of upgrading your NetStaff CS or NetClient CS sign in to a Thomson Reuters Account.
  1. Return to the sign-in page.
  2. Enter your NetStaff CS or NetClient CS sign-in information.
  3. Select
    Upgrade my NetStaff CS or NetClient CS login
    .
  4. Follow the steps to complete the upgrade process.

Sign out other accounts

If you have other accounts, your browser might be confused about which one you're using.
  1. Sign out of all Thomson Reuters accounts.
  2. Return to the sign-in page and try again.

Linked account

If this account is linked to another, then you can't sign in directly. Follow these steps to access a linked account.
  1. Return to the sign-in page.
  2. Sign in to your other account.
  3. Use the list of firms next to your profile icon on the homepage to switch between accounts.
Internal use only
If the person is still receiving the error message after following the previous steps, visit https://votools.netfirm.int.thomsonreuters.com/SupportCenter/ and unmigrate the person's account with the following steps:
  1. Select
    User Information lookup
    .
  2. Choose the filter
    Login
    or
    Email
    .
  3. Search for the email address of the account.
  4. If the account is showing as migrated, you will need to unmigrate the account.
  5. Copy the login ID under the login column.
  6. Select
    Utilities
    .
  7. Select
    Revert Migrated to non-migrated state
    .
  8. Enter the login ID you copied (email is not necessary).
  9. Select
    Revert Migration
    .
  10. Contact a Web Consultant, provide the login ID, and ask for them to set a password for it. You'll need the license PIN and Physical Address from the firm administrator to provide the previous information to the person.
If the person is showing as unmigrated, follow these steps:
  1. Select
    User Information lookup
    .
  2. Choose filter Login or Email.
  3. Search for the email address of the account.
  4. If the account is showing as migrated, you will need to unmigrate the account.
  5. Copy the login ID under the login column.
  6. Contact a Web Consultant, provide the login ID, and ask for them to set a password for it. You'll need the license PIN and Physical Address from the firm administrator to provide the previous information to the person.
After you have provided the person with the Login ID and password, instruct them to go to Netlinksolution.com and select the option to upgrade NetStaff or NetClient CS Account and enter the provided information. They’ll be prompted to migrate the account.
