Virtual Office CS (VO) and Software as a Service (SaaS) limitations
Virtual Office CS/SaaS has limits on direct local application integration, Microsoft 365 support, plugins, audio, and Adobe Acrobat and credit card swipers.
Microsoft Exchange
Outlook in Virtual Office CS or SaaS is supported with a customer-managed Microsoft 365 account that uses 1 of the supported licenses:
Microsoft 365 Business Premium
Microsoft 365 F3
Microsoft 365 E3
Microsoft 365 E5
Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise
Thomson Reuters doesn't support administration and management of the customer's Microsoft 365 tenant, mail routing, or Exchange Online configuration.
CS Professional Suite applications
FileCabinet CS is limited to
Flat File
data locations only. SQL isn't available.
Multiple data locations aren't permitted on SaaS for any application except FileCabinet CS.
Applications
Adobe Acrobat isn't available, however, you can use Adobe Reader to view PDFs in Outlook and CS Professional Suite applications.
A web browser is active in Virtual Office CS and SaaS for integration purposes, but isn't meant for general web browsing. Copy any URL to your local web browser instead of selecting a link within Virtual Office CS or SaaS.
Extra Microsoft Office plugins or add-ins can't be loaded or installed in the Virtual Office CS or SaaS environment.
Environment and integration
Audio is not available for efficiency, bandwidth, and security reasons. Save the file locally and play it locally.
Applications on Virtual Office CS or SaaS don't directly integrate with local applications.
Fax integration and voicemail services aren't available.
A local scanner can't integrate with Outlook on Virtual Office CS or SaaS.
