Use Web Analytics in PeopleMap to search social media and the web

Research a person's social media and web presence through categorized and filterable web search results using Web Analytics in PeopleMap.
You can use Web Analytics to filter web results and link to social media and web pages possibly associated with a person. You can also add search results directly to a PeopleMap report.
  1. To begin, select the
    Web Analytics
     tab while in a PeopleMap report.
  2. Select a filter to narrow your search results.
  3. Select a URL in the social media and web search results to view it in a new browser. This will pause your PeopleMap session. Results are organized into the following categories:
    • Social Network Profiles
    • Geo Social Networks
    • News and Media
    • Blogging and Forums
    • Picture and Video Sharing
    • Online Commerce
    • Music
    • Other
    Social media and other web results can be a great source to find photos and other information unavailable in other public records sources. If a person has marked their social media profile as private, their profile isn't accessible through Web Analytics.
  4. You can add any search result directly to a PeopleMap report. Select the individual items you're interested in or
    Select all items
    , then select
    Add to Report
    .
