Download and apply updates

For a local or network installation only
Use CS Connect to download and apply any available updates for your application.
important
If you're working in a terminal server environment, be sure to download and apply all connect updates in install mode at the terminal server.
  1. Select either
    File
     or
    Utilities
    , then select
    CS Connect
    .
  2. Select
    Connect now
    .
  3. Mark
    Retrieve available updates
    .
  4. Select
    Call Now
    . CS Connect signs in to our network of secure data centers and downloads all available application updates.
    note
    • If you access your application through Virtual Office CS or Software as a Service (SaaS), you don't need to use CS Connect because the most current version of your program is always available.
    • CS Connect informs you of approximately how long the download will take, and you can choose whether or not to download the updates at that time. To cancel the call without downloading the updates, select
      Cancel
      .
  5. Select
    Apply previously downloaded updates/licenses
    .
  6. Select
    Apply Now
     to apply the updates.
