Import reports, financial statements, and letters from the Accounting CS custom report library

The Accounting CS custom report library includes a number of custom reports, financial statements, and letters that you can import directly into Report Designer.
  2. Find the item to import.
    tip
    You can go through the list or enter a search term to find related items.
  3. If you want to view a sample of any items, select the link in the Title column.
  4. To download a report, financial statement, or letter, select
    Download
     in the Action column.
  5. When the download is complete, extract the contents of the ZIP file.
    important
    The ZIP file contains 2 files: the Report Designer file, and a PDF sample report. You don’t need to extract the PDF, but you do need to extract the Report Designer file.
  6. Open the Report Designer in
    Workpapers CS
    .
  7. Select
    File
    , then
    Import
    .
  8. In the
    Import
     window, go to the location where you extracted the contents of the ZIP file.
  9. Select the Report Designer file, then
    Open
    .
    note
    The Report Designer uses the following file name extensions for the various file types:
    • Reports: REP
    • Financial statements: FIN
    • Letters: LET

If the caller has a suggestion for a new report, direct them to the Accounting CS Library portlet. If the report isn't available in the Accounting CS Library portlet, then direct the user to the Ideas Community and, in addition, get as much detail as you can about what they're looking for and send that info via email to
