Mike Abbott leads global thought leadership initiatives for the Thomson Reuters Institute, Thomson Reuters collection of live events, content and analytics, as well as Strategic Insights, Thomson Reuters legal market intelligence tool.

Prior to his role in thought leadership, Mike was a senior consultant with Hildebrandt Consulting and helped build the Thomson Reuters Global Account Management program, where he served as vice president and global business director. He held leadership positions in both sales & account management and strategic marketing for Thomson Reuters in Washington and Eagan, Minnesota, United States.

Before joining Thomson Reuters, Mike was a telecommunications licensing analyst for the Washington law firm of Keller & Heckman. Mike attended Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania, U.S., where he earned his B.A. in English/Writing.
