INSIDE THOMSON REUTERS

Appreciating earth through a different lens

We are continually striving to improve our environmental impact around the world. With the release of our 2020 Social Impact Report and in celebration of Earth Day 2021, our Minneapolis Green Team challenged our colleagues to dust off those cameras, clean off those cell phone lenses, and head out to explore their local, regional, or state parks for a photo challenge!

Our Green Teams are dedicated to supporting the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals (specifically the Sustainable Development Goal 13 Climate Action) and getting involved to do what we can to protect our environment. With the 2021 theme of Restore Our Earth, we encouraged our teams to enjoy some fresh air, get some exercise, and bathe in the beauty all around us, while making the trip outdoors a litter pick-up expedition; picking up trash and plastics while enjoying time in nature.

Check out some of the photos from our Minneapolis teammates below, and learn more about how you can do your part to Restore Our Earth:

Help tackle pollution in your community for Earth Day (and beyond)!

We challenge you to spend time outside in your local neighborhood and pick up any litter that you see and dispose of it in a proper manner. Take a picture of the litter you collect and share back with us using #WorkingAtTR. By taking part in this challenge, you can show how local action drives global change.
