The opportunity

TZVS wanted to make it easier for internal teams and clients to interact on matters, store documents and share knowledge centrally, create transparency over progress, and automate processes. They wanted to manage projects in one place. Previously, all communications were over email, and lawyers worked on documents individually, making it hard to track version changes.

“HighQ showed us that we could change our service delivery model for the better: to give clients that openness so they could see how their projects were moving along and make them an active participant.”

The Solution

TZVS creates firm-branded client portals in HighQ to manage every project the firm is working on — from M&A transactions, project finance, and litigation cases to contract management and more. Within the portals, lawyers can work on files, compare versions, and communicate directly with clients about issues and next steps. Clients can view and feed into documents or ask questions.

“Being able to show clients this innovative way of delivering services has been a real competitive differentiator. It’s a completely different client experience than a traditional firm. They can see that we are using technology to move forward and that we can speak in their language—that’s been a great thing.”

The Outcomes

The firm can now track every step of a project’s progress, allocate tasks more efficiently, streamline processes, and have a go-to source of information and input for legal and client teams. This ability is especially valuable in areas such as M&A transaction management, where documents are subject to many revisions, and time is often tight.

TZVS saves approximately 30% of the time previously required on critical processes like M&A and 50% on redacting complex contracts. The most significant enhancement is the ability to track information effectively, access the latest versions of contracts, and provide responses quickly.
