Thomson Reuters Announces Finalists for the Inaugural Taxologist Awards

NEW YORK, October 24, 2014 — Thomson Reuters announced today the finalists for the inaugural Taxologist Awards, a program that recognizes outstanding tax departments and individuals who drive value to their organizations by embracing tax technology.

The winners of the Taxologist Awards will be announced at SYNERGY 2014 — a conference for users of Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE tax technology — on Nov. 5 in Washington, D.C. Winners will be presented a commemorative trophy and other prizes. The Taxologist of the Year winner will receive $10,000 to donate to the school of their choice to fund technological initiatives.  

The Taxologist Awards will recognize tax technology innovators in seven categories. Here are the finalists.

Taxologist of the Year

Excellence in Global Transformation

  • Fred Haas, Senior Tax Manager, Ford Motor Company
